Filling backpacks for students in need
Swikar Patel | The Journal Gazette
Barb Trout picks up a backpack to fill with supplies Friday morning at the Grile Administrative Center. Fort Wayne Community Schools will give the backpacks filled with supplies to about 200 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Most of the money for the bags and supplies comes from FWCS employees who donate to participate in Casual Day Fridays. This is the 19th year of the book bag project.
