Statement as issued Monday by Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control:

Teens ages 13-17 with a love for animals are invited to a first night enrollment meeting of the Animal Care Teens Program sponsored by Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 28th from 6-7 p.m. in the shelter’s Education Center. Parents are also invited to this one-hour information and open enrollment meeting.

Animal Care Teens hold meetings twice monthly on Tuesday nights from September-April, 5:30-6:30 p.m. to engage in service and career learning opportunities.

Program fee: $20 for the season. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can stop by to enroll or request a schedule. RSVP by calling 427-2590. Enrollment is limited.
