Now here's an idea that sounds completely ridiculous, until you realize it isn't ridiculous at all, but is actually sort of brilliant.
The Jacksonville Jaguars planning on playing a game year in London for the next four years makes all kinds of sense, particularly the part about building the team's brand internationally. Here are a few very good reasons why:
1. While it's true the Jags don't have an international brand to build at the moment, they don't have a domestic brand, either. And they're not likely to acquire one. So what have they got to lose by trying out a new market?
2. Speaking of no domestic brand .... if they go overseas four times, it's not like Jacksonville's going to miss them.
3. The football-naive British fan base will love them because it won't know, or likely even care, just how much they suck wind.
I don't know about you. But this sounds like a solid win-win to me.
