Vikings prevail on gridiron at Lucas Oil

Tippecanoe Valley scored two touchdowns in the third quarter on the way to a 21-7 victory over Bremen on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Jarred Littlejohn intercepted a pass and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown to get the Vikings within 7-6 in the second quarter.

Tanner Andrews threw a 73-yard touchdown pass to Nolan Sponseller in the third quarter. The Vikings (1-1) added the two-point conversion to make it 14-7. Ben Shriver scored on a 5-yard run for the final touchdown.

NORTH SIDE 2, SOUTH SIDE 1: Tyler Whitaker and Cliff Paul scored goals for the Redskins in a home victory.

CARROLL 3, CONCORDIA 0: Ibrahim Al-awadi had one goal and one assist for the Chargers in a home win.

BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 5, COLUMBIA CITY 1: Brooks Smith scored three goals and had one assist for the Braves in a home win.

BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 3, HAMILTON 0: Marta Bleed and Alex Brown had seven kills for the Braves in a home victory. The scores were 25-4, 25-12, 25-3. Blackhawk Christian also defeated Bethany Christian 3-0. The scores were 25-18, 25-12, 25-18.
