Jefferson Pointe improvements planned

FORT WAYNE -- A multimillion improvement project is on tap at Jefferson Pointe.

Officials at the open-air shopping center plan to announce several enhancements at the facility, including a new road that would run past Rave Cinemas, a revamped food court area and the introduction of at least two new tenants.

The new road will require the razing of a pair of empty storefronts and the relocation of another tenant. A timetable for the work will be announced Wednesday during an 11 a.m. news conference.
