Kylie Eicholtz, 3, adds stickers to Artlinks's White to Bright Community Art Project Saturday afternoon at the Taste of the Arts Festival. The living room set, painted white, was decorated by the public who purchased sheets of colored stickers for 50 cents and placed them on any part of the white room, creating a splattered paint look.

Shooter's Comments:

This shot took some time. I think I went back to this room three times throughout the couple of hours I spent at the festival. The shot above is the one I wanted, but couldn't quite get it the first two times.

I really wanted to back up and use a long lens to compress the background more and include more of the space, but backing up just led to more chaos and people walking in front of me.

It was hard enough to wait for the background to clear out. I chose to shoot this a little over-exposed for a high key image and I had to move in close with a wide angle lens.
