Cosmos may have recently closed one of its two retail locations, but Fort Wayne won't stay a one-Cosmos town for too long. The Bourounis family is looking to open another location next year, says Panos Bourounis, who owns the Cosmos on St. Joe Center Road.
His father, Petros Bourounis, sold his Washington Center Road location to Culver's earlier this month because of health issues. If he is well enough next year, he will open the second location, Panos says. Otherwise, he and his brother will open the location, either in southwest Fort Wayne -- on U.S. 24, near Spyro's Pancake House -- or on Dupont Road, near Dupont Hospital.
Mad Anthony Brewing Co. is nearly set to open a fourth location, in Angola, co-owner Blaine Stuckey says.
The goal is to get the restaurant, Mad Anthony Ale House, up and running in the fall. It will be similar to the Fort Wayne location, he says, but it will also feature a reception hall.
The Angola restaurant will open in the former McCracken Basketball Camp on Lake James, at 920 Lane 440 Lake James.
Mad Anthony currently has locations in Fort Wayne, Auburn and Warsaw.
