Shooter's Comments:
We spend a lot of time shooting in the library system but rarely do we trip across a nice photo with the iconic McMillen Globe. I arrived at the downtown Allen County Public Library early to cover another assignment, so I toured the Great Hall in search of whatever when I found this family taking a tour of the world.
I quickly asked the kids' grandmother for permission to shoot, then stepped back so they would ignore me and return to the globe. When North America revolved into view, she pointed to Fort Wayne and this was the shot. I cropped in tight to remove extra visual stuff on the edges.
