IU coach Kevin Wilson said he's been impressed with quarterback Tre Roberson's performance during fall camp. Roberson will be the starter when the Hoosiers open the season Saturday against Indiana State.
"He really has embraced the challenge even though he played last year and made five starts, he knew he had to play at a higher level, take care of the ball, be more efficient in the passing game," Wilson said during the Big Ten teleconference Tuesday.
"He definitely can make some plays running. He has embraced the competition. He has been by far our most consistent."
