TinCaps trail after three innings

West Michigan leads Fort Wayne 1-0 after three innings Wednesday at Parkview Field.

Lance Durham and Pat Leyland singled with one out in the second inning. Brandon Loy flew out to center for the second out. Gabriel Purroy hit a grounder to shortstop Jace Peterson, who threw wildly to first. Durham scored on the error.

Fort Wayne does not have a hit off West Michigan starter Wilsen Palacios.
