Irish women to play on aircraft carrier

The Notre Dame women's basketball team will play Ohio State on the USS Yorktown in Charleston, S.C., Harbor on Nov. 9, the Buckeyes announced when it released their schedule Friday.

Notre Dame reached the NCAA women's tournament championship game the last two seasons.

The Irish lost both title games, falling to Texas A&M in 2011 and Bayler this year.

Notre Dame's game with Ohio State will be followed by the Ohio State men taking on Marquette.
