Landon Feichter returned an interception 34 yards for a score to help Purdue to a 13-0 lead against Eastern Kentucky at the end of one quarter Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.
Purdue started Robert Marve at quarterback as Caleb TerBush was hit with a one-game suspension for violation of team rules.
Marve threw an interception in his first drive, but came back in the second and threw a 4-yard TD to Gary Bush for the game's first score.
Feichter made it 13-0 by catching a tipped ball and returning it 34 yards for the TD. It was the first interception and touchdown for the sophomore, a Bishop Dwenger graduate.
