  • Softball season ends
    Jessica Hall gave up only three hits to IPFW and the UCLA softball team defeated the Mastodons 8-0 on Saturday to end IPFW's season at the NCAA Regional in Louisville, Ky.
  • Mastodons to regionals
    IPFW senior Theresa McHugh and freshman Rachel Dincoff have earned spots at the NCAA East Region Preliminary Championships, which begins May 23 in Greensboro, N.C.
  • Softball players honored
    IPFW junior Ashleigh Bousquet and sophomore Larissa Franklin were named to the Summit League Softball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the schools’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

Women's volleyball wins invitational

The IPFW women’s volleyball team won the University of Illinois-Chicago Invitational with a 3-0 record.

The Mastodons defeated UIC 25-19, 25-20, 25-17 and Texas-Arlington 25-19, 25-23, 25-18 on Saturday, improving to 6-1 this season.

Emily Spencer had 20 kills, 12 digs, three blocks and two aces against UIC. Against UT-Arlington, Spencer and Hailie Ripley combined for 27 kills, while Tessa McGill had 21 digs.
