Statement as distributed by Villing & Company:
FORT WAYNE, IN (August 29, 2012) – Starting Thursday, September 6, the St. Joe Center Road McDonald’s will close to begin construction of a completely updated restaurant with the fresh new look of McDonald’s.
The new building is expected to reopen in early December according to Mike and Paula Kefer, owners of the St. Joe Center Road and Lima Road McDonald’s restaurants.
“Customers can expect the same great McDonald’s food with exciting new features to add to the McDonald’s experience,” said Kefer.
New changes patrons will see include a dual-lane drive thru to improve traffic flow. The new St. Joe Center Road store will also have a “Dual Point of Service” system, the first of its kind in the Fort Wayne area. The new system allows customers to see when their order is ready, improving order accuracy and customer organization.
Applications for crew and management positions at the new St. Joe Center restaurant are now being accepted at the McDonald’s location at 9827 Lima Road in Fort Wayne.
