Hoagland, Arcola & Leo-Cedarville to host events
(September 4, 2012) — The communities of Hoagland, Arcola and Leo-Cedarville will be hosts for this fall’s “County Night Out” meetings, the Allen County Commissioners’ office announced today.
The first meeting will take place Wednesday, September 19, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Hoagland Park Pavilion, 11320 Hoagland Road. The event is being coordinated with the assistance of the Hoagland Area Advancement Association.
On Tuesday, October 16, the town of Leo-Cedarville will host “County Night Out.” The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the community’s Park Pavilion, 9825 St. Joseph Street.
Details on the Arcola meeting are still being finalized.
“County Night Out” features an open-house format designed to allow citizens the opportunity to meet the Commissioners and other elected officeholders face-to-face and get information about programs and services offered by various County departments. Among the departments which will be represented at the meetings are the Highway Department, NIRCC, County Treasurer, Building Department, Election Board, the Fort Wayne-Allen County Health Department and the Department of Planning Services.
