TinCaps trail after three innings

Lansing leads Fort Wayne 2-1 after three innings of Game 1 of the Eastern Division opening round series at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps scored their run in the first inning. Yeison Asencio singled with two outs. Travis Whitmore knocked him in with a triple to center field.

Lansing tied the game with a run in the second. Chris Hawkins walked with two outs. Gustavo Pierre knocked in with a double to left field.

The Lugnuts scored another two-out run in the third inning. Jason Leblebijian had a two-out single. K.C. Hobson drove him in with a double to right field.
