Roster moves

Fort Wayne officially added Leo graduate Brandon Alger to the roster on Wednesday.

The left-hander, who also pitched at Indiana Tech, 4-1 record with a 2.32 ERA. In 42⅔ innings he struck out 36 and walked six.

Second-round draft pick Jeremy Baltz also joined the team. He is in the lineup, batting fifth as the designated hitter. He hit .281 with five home runs and 43 RBI.

Catcher Matt Colantonio was reinstated from the disabled list.

Fort Wayne made three corresponding moves. Infielder B.J. Guinn was promoted to Advanced-A Lake Elsinore. Pitcher Colin Rea was sent to Short-Season A in Eugene, as was catcher Chris O'Dowd.
