Local men hit with Ecstasy indictments

Two Fort Wayne men were recently indicted by a federal grand jury on charges related to the distribution of Ecstasy.

Russell F. Cowherd, 32, is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance known as Ecstasy. Also charged with the same offense in a separate indictment is Michael Banks, 22.

Both men also face federal gun charges, according to court documents.

The indictments, handed up in August, were unsealed this week.
