SOUTH BEND -- Greetings from Notre Dame Stadium, where Purdue and the Irish are about to knock heads for the 84th time in a series that goes all the way back to 1896.
Contrary to rumor, Danny Hope was not still trying to decide who his starting quarterback was at the time.
No, that will be Caleb TerBush, who sat out a suspension last week but was named the starter for today's game against Notre Dame. However, Hope also said this week that Robert Marve -- who was 30 of 38 for 295 yards and three touchdowns last week in TerBush's absence, as Purdue shelled Eastern Kentucky 48-6 -- would also see playing time. So will Rob Henry, at least in some capacity.
It might well take all three of them to get the job done for the Boilers, who haven't won in Notre Dame Stadium since 2004. It's also been five years (2007) since Purdue opened the season 2-0.
