Homestead, DeKalb, Concordia and Adams Central won their respective classes in a high school marching band contest in Bluffton on Saturday.
Those schools and others competed in the On the Banks of the Wabash contest at Bluffton High School.
According to Indianamarching.com, Homestead took first place in Class A. Carroll was second, Snider was third, Northrop was fourth and Huntington North was fifth. Homestead won caption awards for music, visual and general effect.
In Class B, DeKalb was first. Norwell was second, Columbia City was third, Bishop Dwenger was fourth, Wayne was fifth, South Side was sixth and New Haven seventh.
Norwell won a caption award for music. DeKalb won caption awards for visual and general effect.
Adams Central took first place in Class D. Eastside was second.

In Class C, Concordia was first. Angola was second, Woodlan was third, Garrett was fourth, Heritage was fifth and Bellmont sixth.

In the Crimson Marching Band Festival at Goshen High School, Warsaw took first place in Class A.
