2 injured in car-pickup crash in Noble

Two drivers were injured in a crash Saturday in Noble County, according Noble County Sheriff’s Department.

A 1995 Chevy S10 pickup, driven by Ross L. Moore, 59, of Ligonier, was westbound on County Road 900 N. approaching County Road 700 E. when a 1988 Ford Mustang, driven by Basilo Ramirez, 63, of Etna Green, pulled in front of it, police said

Ramirez was pinned in his car and had to be extricated by rescue workers, deputies said. Ramirez was airlifted to Parkview Regional Hospital. He is listed in serious condition with internal injuries.

Moore had minor injuries from airbags to his face and arms and was treated at Parkview Noble Hospital.

Deputies have not filed charges.
