Big inning gives TinCaps the lead

Fort Wayne leads Lake County 10-4 after six innings of Game 3 of the Eastern Division championship series Monday at Classic Park.

Fort Wayne scored six runs in the sixth inning. Kyle Gaedele doubled. Tyler Stubblefield walked. Travis Jankowski had a bunt single, extending his hit streak to 22 games, to load the bases.

Jace Peterson then hit a two-run double. Yeison Asencio followed with a two-run single, making it 8-4.

Austin Hedges knocked in Asencio with a single. Fort Wayne scored its final run on an infield single by Stubblefield.
