Work begins tonight on I-69

FORT WAYNE – Drivers on Interstate 69 are likely to encounter lane restrictions between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. at the Union Chapel Road bridge.

Nightly lane restrictions north of Exit 316 are scheduled between Monday and Thursday, the Indiana Department of Transportation's Fort Wayne district announced Monday.

Deck pans and formwork will be installed on the Union Chapel bridge over I-69.

The interstate will not be fully closed at any time, INDOT said.
