Jennifer Sorg
The size of a basketball, and growing

Not a miniature

This is a volunteer watermelon in my flower bed. I thought it was the miniature seedless variety since I had planted them in the big garden last year, so I let it stay.

It didn’t take long to realize I was wrong, as this one is about the size of a basketball and still growing. Next year’s plan: Weed or plant, if I didn’t put it there, it’s not staying.
