Midwest League championship series: Game in extra innings

Game 1 of the Midwest League championship series between Fort Wayne and Wisconsin is tied at 2 after nine innings at Fox Cities Stadium.

Fort Wayne tied the game in the seventh inning.

The seventh started with an infield hit by Travis Whitmore. Lee Orr followed with a single to left field. Austin Hedges then hit a grounder to third. Brandon Macias stepped on the bag for the first out. He threw to second for out No. 2. A throw to first was just wide of the bag, and was a little late, otherwise it would have been a triple play.

Duanel Jones came through for Fort Wayne with a triple to center field. Hedges scored, tying the game at 2.
