Two men were arrested in Kosciusko County this week on drug-related charges.The first arrest was Monday when officers arrived at a home at 701 E. County Line Road 800 S.A Warsaw man wanted for sexually battering a 14-year-old girl this summer turned himself in to police Monday.
Howard Leon Southall, 50, was wanted on felony counts of child solicitation and sexual battery, according to Warsaw police.
While Southall lived at the Canterbury House Apartments complex in Warsaw, people complained that he approached young girls on the playground or followed them on the complex property, police said.
An investigation revealed that he exchanged notes with a 14-year-old and that sexual touching occurred. Southall fled to Indianapolis during the investigation but has now returned, police said.
He was arrested and is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $2,000 bail.
