Heidi Klum is denying that she had an affair with her bodyguard while married to pop singer Seal. But now, having split from Seal, she says she is seeing the bodyguard.

On Wednesday’s edition of the Katie Couric talk show, Klum said she “never looked at another man” while she and Seal were together. But more recently, she and the family’s bodyguard of four years have gotten to know each other “from a completely different side.”

Seal criticized Klum for having a relationship with the man before their divorce was final.

Mercury finalists

Rapper Plan B and singer-songwriter Richard Hawley are the favorites among 12 finalists for Britain’s prestigious Mercury music prize.

Plan B is nominated for the soundtrack to his film “Ill Manors” and Hawley for his album “Standing at the Sky’s Edge.”

The winner of the $32,000 prize will be announced Nov. 1.

Mogul pens book

Music mogul Clive Davis will release an autobiography in February that will include “the excitements, the disappointments and the triumphs” of his career.

The untitled book will be released through Simon & Schuster and will be written with music journalist Anthony DeCurtis. A news release says it will include “never-before-heard tales” about Davis’ work with acts such as Whitney Houston, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan.

Professor X killed

Fifty years after Charles Xavier banded his first class of mutants together as the X-Men, the telepath-turned-team builder has been killed by one of them.

The erstwhile teacher was felled in the latest issue of “Avengers vs. X-Men” by Scott Summers.

The 11th issue of the limited series was released Wednesday.

In the series, Summers, aka Cyclops, has been taken over by the Phoenix force and is lashing out.

Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso said the mortal blow will have ramifications that will reach into new titles coming this fall.
