Huntington North QB throws 9 TD passes

Huntington North quarterback Drew Schnitz threw nine touchdown passes in a 62-49 win over Anderson on Friday.

Schnitz was 21-of-36 passing for 380 yards and the six touchdowns. He also rushed for 173 yards on 18 carries.

According to the Indiana Football Coaches Association website, the nine TDs is a state record.

Caleb Richison caught six of Schnitz's nine touchdown passes, tying the state record for TD receptions in a single game with two other players.

Paul Ehler, Braydin Stell and Andy Spahr caught the other three TD passes.
