Midwest League championship series: Report after six innings

Wisconsin leads Fort Wayne 6-4 after six innings of Game 3 of the Midwest League championship series Saturday at Parkview Field.

Wisconsin scored five runs in the fourth inning to take the lead.

Nick Ramirez led off the inning with an opposite-field home run to left field.

With two outs, Rafael Neda walked. Lance Roenicke followed with a single.

Adrian Williams then singled to left, bringing home Neda to tie the game at 3.

Cody Hebner replaced Frank Garces. He got up two strikes on Brandon Macias. Macias worked the count full and then hit a three-run home run to left field.

Fort Wayne scored a run in the bottom of the fifth. Tyler Stubblefield walked. He moved to third on a two-out single by Yeison Asencio.

With Lee Orr up, David Goforth threw a wild pitch. Stubblefield scored, cutting the deficit to 6-4.
