Christal Woods of New Haven won a $250 gift card in the Fifth Freedom Web Search Survey.

Quincy Recycle recognized the top 10 organizations that are participating in its PaperGator recycling program. The groups and the pounds recycled are Central Lutheran School, 79,060; St. Joseph School, 61,980; Concordia Lutheran Church and School, 47,760; St. Joseph Catholic Church, 46,420; St. Louis Academy, 39,860; St. Peters Lutheran Church and School, 33,540; Bishop Dwenger High School, 33, 420; Ascension Lutheran Church and School, 31,020; Cedar Canyon Elementary, 29,760; and Queen of Angels, 29,440.

Giving back

Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County has distributed bright green sheds in Warsaw, Syracuse and North Webster to help provide an easy way for people to donate to the organization’s recyclable can-collection campaign. The money from the cans help build housing for families in need.
