A vehicle crash early Saturday sent a rural Columbia City man to the hospital with a broken neck, police said.

Michael Grim, 47, was a passenger in a car driven by Susan R. Janes, 45, also of rural Columbia City.

At about 3:25 a.m. Janes was driving north on Willow Avenue near Shriner Lake when her car went off the right side of the road and over a curb, hitting a parked car, according to a news release by Indiana State Police.
