Fort Wayne faces elimination today in Game 4 of the Midwest League championship series against Wisconsin at Parkview Field.

The Timber Rattlers, up 2-1 in the series, are looking for their first Midwest League crown.

James Needy is the starting pitcher for Fort Wayne. He went 6-3 with a 1.75 ERA in the regular season.

He has made two starts in the postseason. He has a 1-0 record with a 7.04 ERA. He has allowed six runs and 12 hits in 7 2/3 innings.

He pitched five innings in a win against Lansing in the opening round. He went 2 2/3 innings in Game 3 of the Eastern Division championship series against Lake County.

Wisconsin will start Chad Thompson. He went 5-2 with a 4.31 ERA in the regular season.

Thompson is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in the postseason. Thompson gave up one earned run and struck out 10 against Clinton in the Western Division championship series.
