Mary Keefer, principal of Bishop Luers High School announced today the termination of the employment of Matt Lindsay at Bishop Luers High School, effective as of September 16, 2012. Mr. Lindsay had been placed on administrative leave of absence on Thursday, September 13, 2012.

This release also serves to clarify some misinformation published in the media regarding a reported medical leave of absence taken by Mr. Lindsay. Those reports were not put forth by the school's administration, and were inaccurate. Mr. Lindsay was not on a medical leave. Mr. Lindsay's employment at Bishop Luers High School was terminated as a result of his violations of school and Diocesan policies, and his violations of his employment contract obligations.
