ARCH Inc. of Fort Wayne and Indiana Landmarks of Indianapolis have agreed to an expanded collaboration, planning to share office space in Fort Wayne beginning this fall, the historic preservation organizations said Saturday.
The office will be in the Alexander T. Rankin House at 818 Lafayette St., ARCH said in a statement.
This partnership will increase both the amount and quality of preservation projects in Allen County and northeast Indiana, said Michael Galbraith, ARCHs executive director, in the statement. ARCH and Indiana Landmarks have so many areas of interest in common that this marks a great double-down for preservation.
The organizations have previously worked together to rehabilitate the McCulloch-Weatherhogg House and the Charles Kuhne House, among other projects.
Under the agreement, Indiana Landmarks Wabash-based field representative will spend at least one day a week in Fort Wayne, the statement said. Fort Wayne has been served by the organizations South Bend office.
