Grains futures fall, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 46.25 cents to $8.78 a bushel; December corn fell 34 cents to $7.48 a bushel; December oats fell 11.75 cents to $3.8450 a bushel; while November soybeans dropped 70 cents to $16.69 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 1.55 cent to $1.2550 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.38 cent to $1.47 a pound; while October lean hogs slipped 0.65 cent to 73.37 cents a pound.
