Homestead scored three goals in the second half and held Carroll scoreless to claim a 4-3 girls soccer victory Monday at Carroll.
Trailing 3-1 at halftime, the Spartans (11-1-1, 5-1 NHC) got goals in the second period from two-time All-NHC forward Kelsey Wendlandt, Ari Nelson and Morgann Williams.
Madison Kloster provided Homesteads only goal in the first half, when the Chargers (10-2-1, 5-1) got two goals from Toro Minnich and one from Amber Hoot.
Homestead had a dozen shots on goal at goalkeeper Taylor Depoy.
