“If approved, this agreement means Indiana’s consumers who purchased E-books published by Penguin Group will receive $1.15 million in total refunds via their E-book accounts."From a written report received Wednesday morning: On September 19, 2012 at 4:15 AM Officers responded to the 300 block of Kinnard Ave. in regards to a shooting. Officers went into a home on the 300 block of Kinnard and located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses in the home were rendering the victim aid when Officers arrived.
The victim was in serious condition at the scene. Medics made the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. While en route to the hospital the victim was downgraded to critical condition.
Officers were advised by witnesses at the scene that an adult male with a ski mask entered the home shot the victim then exited the residence abruptly. Another potential witness advised Officers that they observed an adult male black, medium build, with a dark hoodie leaving the direction of the incident in haste shortly after the shooting.
There were multiple individuals in the home at the time of the shooting. These individuals were interviewed by Detectives for additional information.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, The Allen County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, and the Allen County Coroner's Office.
