Successful surgery for Slaughter

Notre Dame safety Jamoris Slaughter underwent successful surgery on his ruptured left Achilles tendon, the university announced Wednesday night.

Dr. Brian Ratigan performed the Achilles tendon repair, and Slaughter is expected to make a full recovery in six months, the university said.
