Man acquitted of molesting charges

An Allen Superior Court jury acquitted a Fort Wayne man of charges he molested a young girl.

Earlier this year, prosecutors charged Allen Reed with two counts of child molesting and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Reed was accused of seducing a 13-year-old girl, giving her alcohol and molesting her.

But on Wednesday, an Allen Superior Court jury acquitted him of the charges after a two-day jury trial.
