Te'o honored again

Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o picked up two more weekly awards Tuesday.

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound senior was named the Bronko Nagurski national defensive player of the week and the Chuck Bednarik player of the week on Tuesday.

Te'o had eight tackles, intercepted two passes and forced two more interceptions with pressure to Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson and running back Vincent Smith in the No. 10 Irish's 13-6 victory Saturday night.

Te'o, who has 38 tackles and three interceptions this season, was named the Independent defensive player of the week and the Lott IMPACT player of the week on Monday.
