QB update

Indiana coach Kevin Wilson said quarterback Cameron Coffman is set to return as the starter for Saturday's game at Northwestern.

Coffman left the Hoosiers' last game, Sept. 15 against Ball State, with a hip pointer.

"He looks fine, he's practicing good," Wilson said during his weekly news conference. "Cam will go first, unless there's some issues between now and walking out there Saturday morning. Cam will go first, but Nate (Sudfeld) will be ready to roll."

Coffman passed for 251 yards and two touchdowns before leaving with the injury. Sudfeld threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns.

"They've done a great job," said sophomore wide receiver Cody Latimer, who caught touchdown passes from them back. "Cam stepped up big time after Tre (Roberson) got injured. He came in throwing touchdowns, getting yards for us and making plays. And when Cam went down, Nate did the same thing."
