Marve update

Purdue coach Danny Hope provided an update on injured quarterback Robert Marve during his weekly teleconference Tuesday.

"I don't anticipate him playing this weekend," Hope said. "I don't know what the timetable is going to be like for Robert. I'm optimistic that he will make a comeback this season. He is only a couple of weeks away from re-injuring his knee, but he's done some things in practice that are very optimistic about his return."

Marve suffered the knee injury on Sept. 8 at Notre Dame.
