Reed Road section to close for 2 months

FORT WAYNE – A section of Old Trail Road will close to through traffic for a week.Thursday

FORT WAYNE – Covington Road will close at the railroad tracks for more than a week.Thursday

FORT WAYNE – McArthur Drive on the city’s southwest side will close at the railroad tracks for more than a week.Thursday

FORT WAYNE – Reed Road will be closed to all traffic between Vance Avenue and State Boulevard for two months, weather permitting.

The closure, on the city’s northeast side between Dodge Avenue and Woodstock Drive, begins Monday, the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced.

API Construction Inc. will install a storm sewer in the middle of Reed Road in that area.

The announcement said the official detour will use Vance Avenue, Coliseum Boulevard and State Boulevard.
