GROUP AWARDED: The Historic Preservation Committee of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution has presented the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration with a Historic Preservation Recognition Award for its restoration of Brookside, formerly known as the Bass family mansion, on the campus of University of Saint Francis, 2701 Spring St.

GUILD MEETING: The Appleseed Quilters Guild will hear author and quilt designer Connie Kauffman at Classic Café, 4832 Hillegas Road.
