East Noble’s Katie Sharp finished second in the girls state golf tournament for the second time in her career Saturday.
Sharp, who had a one-shot lead after finishing her second round at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin, shot a 3-under 69 Saturday and finished the tournament at 5-under 139.
Chesterton’s Kelly Grassel won the state title with a 7-under 137. She shot a 4-under 68 Saturday.
Sharp, a senior, finished fifth, second and 11th in her previous state finals appearances.
