The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of theft and fraud.About 12:30 p.m.A woman died early Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on Bluffton Road, police said.
The collision, just south of Ferguson Road, occurred about 6 a.m. when a Jeep traveling south on Bluffton Road crossed the center line, striking a Volkswagen Beetle heading north, according to a news release from the Allen County Sheriff's Department.
The head-on collision caused the VW to spin into a ditch and the Jeep to overturn in the roadway. The driver of the VW, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries, the release said.
The names of the drivers, who were both wearing seatbelts, were not released.
The crash remains under investigation.
