Parking lot closes at Allen voting site

The free public parking lot next to the offices of the Allen County Election Board and Voter Registration at 1 West Superior St. is scheduled to remain closed for the rest of the week.

Maintenance crews are paving the lot, according to a statement issued Wednesday by the Allen County Public Information Office.

It said both offices will remain open.

If weather permits, the work should be completed and the lot reopened Monday in time for the start of early voting for the November general election, the statement said.
