Warsaw soccer forfeits at 7

The final total of forfeits for the Warsaw boys soccer team will be seven, according to athletic director Dave Anson.

According to a release from Anson:

"Earlier this week it was released that the Warsaw Community High School Boys Soccer team would be forfeiting a number of matches from the 2012 season. Through assessing match video and statistician records, WCHS has determined that we will forfeit a total of 7 matches, including six wins and a draw.

The boys Northern Lakes Conference record will now be 3-2-2, and Warsaw's overall record stands 8-8-2 heading into Saturday's sectional championship against Culver Military Academy at Plymouth."

The team had to forfeit the matches because of an illegible player that was caused because the transfer paperwork to the IHSAA wasn't completed for the first part of the season and wasn't discovered until the end of the regular season.
