Napoleon needs a home

Napoleon is a 1-year-old neutered brown and white boxer-Lab mix.

He is a large dog.

"I was transferred from Animal Care & Control to the Allen County SPCA. I am a very sweet and lovable guy but I do have quite the energy level! I will need a lot of daily mental and physical exercise to keep me happy!

"I am a very vocal guy so hopefully you will like the conversations we can have together! I do well with my housebreaking but may need an adjustment period when I come home with you. The staff recommends you crate train me so I stay safe while you are away from home. I will require a fence or trolley to come home with you so I can exercise safely!

"The staff feels I would do well with children older than 6 years as long as they treat me nicely. I get along well with other dogs and even cats!

"If you have the energy to keep up with me, please ask to play with me today!"

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
