Scouting report: Manchester ended its four-game losing streak last week with a 24-14 victory at Bluffton, Ohio. Junior quarterback Nick Williams, an Elmhurst graduate, had 151 passing yards with a touchdown and 67 rushing yards and a touchdown to lead the Spartans. Defensively, junior linebacker Zach Dashner had 13 tackles, 10 of which were unassisted. Manchester averages 21.4 points, just five points less than its opponents’ average of 26.4. … Defiance lost its first three games this season but has won its last two. Manchester and Defiance share a common opponent, and both lost to Rose-Hulman. Manchester lost 28-26, and Defiance lost 33-20.
